I love to cook. I have actually looked for cooking jobs in the area I live but can not find someone willing enough to take me on. I cook for a semi-large family and love to find new recipes on the internet to try. Since I have been home and cooking, we hardly have the same thing twice in a year!
My favorite things to cook
I have so many different tastes now that there isn't anything I don't like to cook. I do have to say that I love to grill over stoves, but I do not strictly adhear to my favorite style of cooking, in fact, the grill is off more now than it use to be.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Love to cook the Thanksgiving dinner for my family, as well as Christmas. We do the traditional T-day turkey and with the help of the food network, started using the fresh herbs under the skin with a butter baste. Turns out heavenly every year. Christmas, ahh Christmas! I started a prime rib tradition in our family. I have found a way to cook it that just turns it to the best flavor and melts in your mouth. Can't wait for the season!
My cooking triumphs
Professionally, none. Personally, almost every night I cook the family just ooohs and ahhs!
My cooking tragedies
Many have happened, the worst was when I tried, without a recipe, to create a beef saute to cook in a pan that included vinegar. I put a little too much in and added nothing to cut the bitterness. It was a disaster. My wife now watches me around the vinegars...:)
