First of all, I'm a fan of chickpeas; I love hummus and falafel, so it was a surprise to me when this just ended up... bad. I felt like I put in a normal amount of mayonnaise (maybe more than the recipe called for) and it still turned out chalky and dry. I tried adding things to get it more moist/flavorful (like cream cheese, which I often substitute in for mayonnaise)--this helped a little. Because this is so simple, I'm pretty sure the fault was the recipe's; not mine.
