Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Simple yet fabulous. Restaurant quality. I used a boneless pork shoulder and a spicy bbq sauce. It was addictive, will definitely make many more times!

Peanut Butter Kisses I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
I may of done something wrong but these did not work out well for me. The sugary taste was overwhelming and the kisses turned into cookies by spreading out on the pan.

Goat Cheese Stuffed Lamb Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
Great burgers, they did not fall apart, juicy and tasty. I used goats feta seasoned with tomato and basil. I only used a dash of salt and egg white instead of the egg. I made them on the stove vs. the grill and had no issues. I made a yougart tzatziki like sauce to go with the burgers.

Finnish Flat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
This recipe was great. I am on a yeast free sugar free diet. I substituted the sugar fro 2 pkgs of stevia (plant sugar) and 1 cup of butter milk for 1 cup of almond milk. I added some oregano and chili flakes. It came out flavorful and sweet. I even made it again but this time rolled into buns, which I served with chicken burgers.

Yogurt Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
The bread did taste quite bland so it depends what you are using it for. If you were to put butter and jam on it then it would probably taste better. However I was making it because I am on the Candida diet - no sugar or yeast, if I do make it again I might try adding some herbs to infuse flavor. The crust around the bread was flavorful so not all was lost, I cut the middle out and used the upper and lower crust for a sandwich.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Tastes like nachos you would get from a restaurant. Amazing flavor. I made vegetarian. I used the same recipe to make a pasta sauce the next night. I followed the other readers by placing the chips in the oven for 5 minutes prior to adding the toppings. I also sprinkled taco seasoning before putting the toppings on and then baking the final 5 minutes.
