Cherry Pie IV

Made this pie filling exactly as written, except I used my own crust. This pie was a hit, gone in seconds! I used 3 bags of frozen cherries because fresh we're not in season. HUGE hit!

Crab Appetizer Napoleons

Made for thanksgiving. Was a hit! As I was mixing the crab/horseradish mixture, I tasted it. I like to taste more crab, so I added 2 cans, making 3 cans of crab altogether. Just my personal preference though. This was fantastic!!

Cheesecake Lemon Bars

Newport Clam Chowder

The best Clam Chowder I have ever had! I did not add as much clam juice, I simply used the juice from the can and one bottle of clam juice, this was plenty when making for a serving for 4. I like my chowder thicker anyway. Also used minced clams and some whole, added celery finely chopped. It was fantastic!

Savory Vegetable Beef Stew

This is increbible! Best beef stew ever! I too added celery. I also left out the flour. I lighty browned the meat over a very low heat and it fell apart when you ate it! Yummy!

Crab Cake Sauce

Loved this! My honey craves and raves about "that crab sauce you made" However, I modified it and only use sour cream, our favorite jar of salsa and creamy horseradish for kick. YUMMY!

Orange Honey Garlic Chicken

Tasty! This has so much flavor! I did not cook the chicken for 1-1/2 hours, I feel that is too long to cook chicken for. I suggest 30 minutes at 375.came out very juicy and tender. I did add the marmalade and fresh chopped onions, and sauteed the garlic before adding to marinade. This combination made a yummy orangey glaze that was de-lish! Will make again!
