I make a simplified version of this using Spicy Italian Sausage, I've never put the Ketchup in and I prefer it made with Meat Tortellini instead of the cheese and lots of freshly grated parmesan on top... Regardless of how involved or simply you make this IT IS A WINNER! I use a bit more garlic than is called for in this recipe and always serve it with warm, very crusty bread for dipping. I make it in HUGE batches to freeze. Not only does it never fail to please but is always requested again. So simple, so yummy... Just the epitome of comfort food at it's finest! Can't rave enough!!!
