I brushed pesto on the chicken before the egg wash. I used panko bread crumbs and added additional herbs and salt. After I cooked the chicken, I tossed a sliced zucchini in the remaining oil and tossed the slices with the remaining bread crumbs until cooked. I tossed my pasta with the remaining pesto before topping it with sauce. It was delicious!
