Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
These cookies are amazing. My boyfriend's little brother love these. (: I followed the recipe exactly. If you want a flat, soft cookie, bake it around 8-9 minutes. If you want a poofy, soft cookie, bake it around 10-11 minutes. I baked my first batch in 8 minutes and it turned out flat, soft. I baked my second batch for 11 minutes, and it turned out poofy and soft and crunchy edges. (:

Blueberry and Banana Cream Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
It was amazingly good, but I made changes to the recipe. I omitted the pecans. I added only 1/4 cup of sugar. I added 2 packages of cream cheese. I bought the crust.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
This was my first time making soup. This soup was really good, but I had to add some changes. I added 1/2 cup of onions. 1/2 cup of celery. some chopped up broccoli. chopped up chicken. I also added some black pepper, salt, paprika, cumin, italian seasoning, and garlic powder to taste. I let everything cook in the pot for a good while. The flour mixture didn't work for me, but probably because of my inexperience. I will try it again, hopefully I won't mess up the flour mixture. Besides that it was amazingly good! (:

This tastes amazing. I usually eat it with a zucchini dish I found and rice. I also used someone's suggestion and baked it in a foil packet.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
This is absolutely amazing! I don't even eat spicy food and I ate like about half of it by myself! I did follow someone's suggestion and doubled the chilies and jalapenos. (I used canned) I promise it just gives more of a kick, doesn't really add on to the spicy level. I baked the bread first before I added the dip.

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
It was amazingly good. I, however, changed the recipe because I didn't have enough on hand. However, I think the change made it SO MUCH BETTER. I added 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 coffee creamer and 1/2 cup of water and 1&1/2 cup of heavy cream. This gives it a better taste in my opinion and makes it more fluffy. I used a mixer. I think this is what makes it not deflate while baking, because the second time I mixed it by hand it deflated.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
This was my first time making the cheesecake. It was perfect. I changed the recipe a little. I added 4 tablespoons of melted butter and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. I used some tips from my cookbook and on this website about cooking cheesecakes. (:
