NO YOLKS® Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2014
I pretty much followed the recipe. I boiled the chicken breast in the 32oz of chicken broth which I made because I didn't have chicken broth. 4 cups of water with two bouillon cubes (Knorr Caldo de Tomate). Didn't have thyme, so I used fresh cilantro and parsley. Used regular cream cheese. Used the dutch oven for everything. Stove to oven is the best. Noodles don't need to be precooked. I'm definitely saving this to my box. Oh, I did use 2 tbls of flour. The panko crumbs probably didn't need salt because of the butter. Enjoy!!!!

Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
I made this recipe tonight and everyone loved it!!! I cooked the spaghetti squash in the oven. Cutting it length wise, seasoning it with salt, pepper, nutmeg, no salt organic seasoning and a splash of olive oil. Put foil down in a deep 9x12 pan, put the squash cut side down. Filled the pan with about 1/2 inch of water, baked covered with foil, 375 degree for 45 minutes. Turned them over and cooked for another 15 minutes. Made the rest as stated but added fresh herbs at the end (basil, parsley and cilantro). Served with skirt steak. I also added fresh mushrooms.

Probably won't make this recipe again. Made it with ground turkey, just wasn't Greek enough. It might be better with lamb.

Elvis' Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This recipe is delicious!!! The combo sounds strange, but it works. Made the recipe as stated, I would probably put peanut butter on both sides next time. It's a keeper!!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
I have to say the recipe stated is not to far off. The oven temperature I decreased to 375. Cubed the chicken and seasoned with salt, pepper and spices. Sautéed the chicken with olive oil until they were white, added the frozen veggies, celery, fresh parsley. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes then added chicken broth (about 1 cup). Let it simmer until chicken is done, taste to see if it needs anything. Turn off heat. For the sauce I followed the recipe, accept I only used 4 tablespoons of flour and only 1/3 cup of milk. I used a whisk to blend the liquid. Let in thicken and turn off heat. I used a casserole dish (9x12). Brushed the pie crust with egg and poked fork holes at the bottom, for ventilation. Press the pie crust to the sides. Used a slotted spoon to place the chicken at the bottom. Poured the sauce on top and then added a few tablespoons of the chicken broth. Baked it for 45 minutes. This is definitely a keeper!!! Oh, I also brushed the top pie crust with the egg. It came out beautiful.

Campbell's® Beef and Mushroom Dijon

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2013
I rated this recipe 3 stars, because it did not have much flavor. If someone can come up with other things to spice it up with please rate and give some tips. It definitely has potential, not any of the other tips helped. As with all the other recipes I always look at the reviews before making the dish. This one missed the mark and our kids also gave it 3 stars. First time I've ever had to give less that 5.

Jenni's Italian Farro Pilaf

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
Thanks for the recipe Jenni, we paired it with Sweet Chili Lime Chicken. I used chicken broth with quick cooking farro from Trader Joes. I used two yellow squash and about six whole mushrooms, that seemed to be enough for us. My family loved it!!! Very easy recipe to follow. I will definitely add it to my recipe box.

Sweet Chili Lime Chicken with Cilantro Couscous

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
This was a wonderful recipe!!! I did not have couscous on hand so I used a farro recipe instead. (Jenni's Italian Farro Pilaf) Which was also wonderful. The only thing I did differently was put about a tablespoon of fresh cilantro, two garlic pressed cloves and more red pepper flakes. Awesome flavor!!!! My family loved it!!!The chicken came out so moist and tender, it was not dry. I will definitely add to my recipe box.

Seared Scallops with Jalapeno Vinaigrette

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
Great recipe Chef John!!! I added 1 clove of garlic, red onion about a tsp., a shake of dried basil, black pepper and a tsp. of agave sweetener. The direction for cooking them was perfect. I used unsalted butter and olive oil in the pan. This vinaigrette would also be good on a salad. This is why I love Allrecipes, you get so many wonderful ideas.

Mediterranean Puff Pastry Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
This recipe was quite tasty!! I used the whole egg instead of just the yolk, kept the egg mixture and coated the pastry before putting it in the oven (egg wash to make it golden brown). This recipe went perfect with a raspberry pastry desert, I didn't have to waste the other sheet of puff pastry. The oven was still hot to cook desert. Great recipe!!

Tater Tot Taco Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
I found this recipe, because I had some leftover tater tots (1day old), and didn't want to waste them. I broiled the tater tots to get them recrispy. I had some leftover refried beans and a hambuger patty. I heated up the beans and hambuger patty together (crumbled the patty). This was an awesome salad!!!!Definately make this again!!!I used three leftovers to make this salad.
