About this Cook
I enjoy life. Like to live as stress free as possible, enjoy each day for what it is. Try not to live Monday through Friday or you are just throwing 5/7 of your life away. I enjoy my family. I enjoy staying fit and being the best possible "Tricia" I can be! My son says I am a very nice person, the most loveful person in the world, I can do everything, I have the greatest spirit, my son is so glad having me as a mom!
My favorite things to cook
Stuffed pasta shells, seafood, personal pizza, cakes, veggies, on and on and on!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Not sure if this is a cooking tradition, but when I cook I always take my son in the kitchen with me. He sometimes helps me cook, sometimes tried to invent his own recipes. Either way, I encourage it! We eat dinner at the table together every important tradition in my house!
My cooking triumphs
As I was growing up, I always thought that vegetables were nasty! As an adult, I have learned to cook vegetables as a tasty, mostly main dish in my household. We will often eat vegetables foregoing starches. And my nine-year-old son is not afraid to eat anything!
My cooking tragedies
As a kid, trying to melt crayons on the stovetop (side note...DON'T DO IT!!!)

Basil Pecan Pesto
Which type of basil leaves do you use? I grow sweet basil, boxwood basil and spicy basil. Which would you recommend?
