Kathy's Roast and Vegetables

This was one of the best roast recipes I have come across. I used a tri-tip because that is all I had it came out so tender it just fell off the fork, I will always use a tri-tip from now one. Because I didn't have enough potatoes or carrots for the stew I put in mushrooms and celery. I also seasoned the tri-tip with season-all before browning it. I used one can of cream of Mushroom with roasted garlic because I didn't have two cans of regular cream of mushroom soup. the mixture was terrific. the gravy this roast recipe made was so good, that we used it the next night over rice and the left over meat. My girls loved this recipe and told me to make sure I make it again and again!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I made this tonight for dinner. It was so good. My family loved it. I did as other suggested and browned the chicken, then put in the oven at 350 for 25 min. I closed up the chicken as much as I could by using dry fettuccine noodles(instead of toothpicks) so that the cheese would not melt out on the ends. doing this I only had a little bit of cheese melt out of the chicken.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

I loved this recipe. I didn't have paprika, so I used Season all instead. I didn't do the 1 hour on high then switch to low setting. i just set it on low and went to work, when I came home it was done. I just steamed some green beans, made some rice and we had a wonderful, healthy meal, that my 3 girls and husband loved.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I took these to a dinner party, and I kid you not they were gone within 10 minutes. Everyone was asking me for the recipe. I was thinking if they are that good do I want to share? :) I took the advice of another and added bacon, I also added some parsley. They are very easy to make. Thank you for the recipe!

Salsa Chicken

My kids just love this dish. the chicken comes out so moist. Not only is this dish kid friendly but also great for dinner parties. Your guest would never know you spent so little time on the dish. YOu can serve it for adults as well as kids depending on your side dishes you use. It is great my kids think I am the best cook, little do they know that this recipe is one of the easiest out there.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

This was a HUGE hit at my house. when it came to the spices I didn't measure I just added to my personal taste. It made enough for me to do 2 pies. (the package on the pie crust said deep dish, guess not deep enough) We had the second pie tonight and I swear it was better than the first one we ate. I will add this to one of our favorites.. it is perfect on a cold winters night.

Lower Fat Banana Bread I

I made this the other night. It turend out great. I did however add some vanilla about a tsp. and some cinnimon. Oh I also add a bit more banana then called for. it turned ot moist and yummy. I will make this again and again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

We loved this recipe. I took the advice of others and used Sour Cream instead of Cream Cheese. I also put in package of sliced fresh mushrooms about 40 minutes before it was done. The meat came out tender. we will make this again and again.

Lisa's Easy Chicken

We loved this recipe. I actaully put the rub on the chicken the night before because we decided we didn't want chicken that night so I went ahead and prepared the rub and put it on the chicken. The next night, since I didn't have fresh tomatoes I used canned diced Tomatoes with Peppers, and onions. I also added some red peppers and some red Onion, mixed that up in a bowl poured it over the chicekn, and put it in the oven. the chicken came out tender and ver juicy. The tomato mixture was very good to put over it. I served it with herbed rice and green beans, it was a great meal. Will definately make again. NOTE: It says in the recipe that you take whatever leftover rub you have and put it in with the tomato mixture. I didn't have any rub left over. so I just added some of the spices to the tomato mixture.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

These were so good. My family loved them. I didn't have any green onions so I used dried chives instead. and I used the Kraft Mexican shredded cheese that is all I had. I really didn't measure anything just mixed it all together and it turned out GREAT. Perfect comfort food.

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

this is a very easy meal to cook when you are short on time or not in the mood to really cook. it comes out like you spent allot of time on this meal. I always have it with a salad and french bread. My family loves it. I have made it so many times that I don't even measure anymore. I highly recommend this recipe to any working mom!

Herb Roasted Pork Loin and Potatoes

this recipe was wonderful. I didn't have any tyme so I used rosemary, basil and oregano instead. I also used red potatoes which turned out wonderfully. My kids loved this meal and said I better make this again and again. Thanks!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

This recipes is very good. I only had Shredded Cheddar and Colby which worked fine. I also added a some pepper to the flour & milk mixture. I put extra breadcrumbs on top since we like a crunchy top. My kids and husband really liked it alot. It is a great comfort food on a cold winter night. We used it as a meal not a side dish. Will make again.

Best Beef Dip Ever

I made this the other night and we all loved it. We are big french dip fans, and this recipe so far is the best one I have found. It is great to come home and have your meal almost done for you. I did put the sandwiches together and put in the oven for a few minutes to let the cheese melt ontop. I really did like the sauce from this, my kids kept dipping thier french fries in it. A keeper if you are a working mom.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

I actually made this 3 months ago and loved it, I forgot to put in my review until I made it again the other night. It is one of the tastiest and easiest cacciatore recipes I have found. My kids love it and there is never left overs, mostly if I have chicken legs in the pot. I also add a can of olives since my kids love them so much. And I love the fact I can come home from work and know that dinner is just about done, all I have to do is cook some noodles and make a salad.

Mahogany Chicken Wings

I made these for my kids lunches(they get bored with just sandwiches all the time) and they love them, even cold. I did not have chili sauce so I used some chili powder. I also let them marinate for about 3 hours. I did not have the problem of the sauce sticking to the pan like some of the other people did. I used pam on the pan before cooking. I will be making this again.

Baked Dijon Salmon

This is one of the best salmon recipes I have come across, the coating of honey mustard sauce then the topping was a prefect compliment to the salmon. My oldest who doesn't even like salmon said it was pretty good. My middle child loved it but still took of the topping. My friend even came over during dinner and asked if he could have a bite and loved it, he is not a big salmon lover either. I will make this more often. no question.
