Soft Oatmeal Cookies
It's not as though this recipe needs any additional positive reviews but I felt the need to thank the author. This is a fantastic, food proof recipe. Each and every time I have made and shared these, I have been asked to make and share them again. Everyone loves them! I have made them just as the recipe is and have added all kinds of goodies as well. My favorite add ins are cranberries and chopped walnuts. I've added apple sauce, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, raisins, pecans. Around Thanksgiving, a friend gave me some persimmons, so I added persimmon pulp that I puréed in a blender and that was really yummy. Thanks for an outstanding recipe. I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and so have my family and friends!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
I had tried many recipes for chocolate chip cookies, but I've been making this one for quite while now because the cookies are deliciously soft and chewy, just like the name of the recipe suggests. Before this recipe, I struggled to make a soft and chewy cookie; there was always something wrong with the cookies from other recipes...too hard, too flat, not tasty, etc. Make sure each ball of dough is the same size, and each of your cookies will come out consistent and perfect. Everyone I give these cookies to thinks they are great! I have also found that this dough freezes well. I often freeze a small portion of the dough and save to make later...and they still come out just as perfect as fresh dough. This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe-thanks a ton for sharing this one!
