FANTABULOUS! These didn't last very long at the St Patty's Day party. I made them several days in advance so they could dry out a little. Be sure to chill the dough in frig for 1/2 hr before rolling in cinnamon. I used MacCormick's Saigon cinnamon ( worth it) mixed with a little brown sugar.

Sensational Strawberry Shortcake

This is very good, but I think I prefer the more modern type of strawberry shortcake with yellow or pound cake. It is definitely a bit messy to cut, but what it lacks for in neatness, it makes up for in taste. If your looking for true shortcake, use this recipe.

I really liked this, but was the only one in my family who did. I only add about 1 or 1 1/2 TBSP of vinegar. Its a little time consuming.

World's Best Lasagna

This is great lasagna, but not the best I 've ever had. It is the best recipe I have for it though. I would have given it 4.5 if I could have. I'm still in search of the world's best lasagna recipe.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

This is excellent. I make this often now. Its a great way to get kids to eat spinach. My five year old asks for it. I throw in unsalted sunflower kernels too for a nutty taste. Love it. I do cut the sugar in half and have made it with 6 packs of splenda instead too if you are watching sugar.

Strawberry/Rhubarb Crumb Pie

I didn't have rhubarb (couldn't find in the grocery store)so I added a bunch of blueberies. It was awesome. A little runny from the blueberries so maybe I would add cornstarch next time. This was a big hit. Will make again and again.

Chicken Milano

This was great. I used half and half instead and added some chopped spinach ,cut up the chicken before cooking, then tossed all together. Fantastic!

Twelve Minute Pasta Toss

This is delicious if you make it immediately prior to eating it. I did have to add more oil since the pasta tends to suck up all the moisture. Will make again and again.

Fresh Apple Cake II

This recipe is a keeper. I added cream cheese icing on top with sifted cinnamon and sugar. It is extremely moist and flavorful. This is the best apple cake I've ever had! My family loved it.

Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

This was really great. Even my husband loved it and he doesn't care for peppers. ( I didn't tell him ;) I skipped the cayenne so it wouldn't be spicy. Next time I will definately use canned tomatoes though. Its very time consuming peeling the tomatoes yourself.
