Coconut Shrimp I

Super great recipe! I used a deep fryer filled with peanut oil for mine and for the dipping sauce, mixed canned manderin orange sections with spicy brown mustard in a food processor. Much better than most resturant ones I have had.

Golden Rum Cake

This recipe was a cinch to make. Baker's Secret is a great non stick shortcut to use instead of using shortening and flour seprately for your bundit pan. The cake baked perfectly. I used Bacardi Select for the rum. The correct sugar for the glaze is granulated white sugar, just like the recipe says, not confectioner's sugar. I thought there was a bit too much glaze, but other than that everything went perfect. Thanks for the super recipe.

Sauerbraten I

The BEST sauerbraten I have ever had! I didn't have ginger snaps so I used ground ginger. I marinated for 4 days slow cooked this overnight and added a little corn starch to thicken the sauce. I served it with potato dumplings. Came out wonderful!

Best Fried Green Tomatoes

I had never had fgt before. I picked tomatoes from my garden for this recipe. I used parmesain bread crumbs. I wasn't expecting them to be that good, but when I tasted them, they were delicous! I also fried up some pumpkin blossoms this way but the tomatoes were better. I will make this again!
