Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
SOOO SOOOO GOOD. Did as first reviewer said and used some spices before adding 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of chicken. I only used 1 can of biscuits - perfect amount. If i had a slightly bigger crock pot, I'd use 1 1/2 cans, but personally think 2 cans is way too much. i dumped 1 can of veggies in there and it looked like a ton, so i didn't add the second, as recommended by the 1st reviewer. Cooked on low for 3.5 hours, added biscuits and cooked for another 3 hours on high. Hubby's only complaint was he wishes there were more veggies (i didn't even tell him i halved it). he LOVED it, said it was the best thing I have ever made. delicious, thanks for a great recipe!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2012
THIS was the best homemade chicken i have ever made!!! delicious!! i used the italian stewed tomatoes as some one else mentioned and wasnt sure about using the juice, but definitely use it! it adds so much flavor!! and the chicken comes out so tender and juicy. however, my chicken took about 8-10 min, so keep an eye on your chicken ;) some pieces came out slightly over cooked but still delicious. my hubby was very impressed!! i also added a little bit of ground oregano and kept the rosemary and thyme (omitting the other spices since i used the italian stye which had the oregano and basil) definitely going in the make often recipe box!! thank you so much for a great recipe!!

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2014
Pretty bland. Cooked orzo in chicken stock, added extra garlic. I ended up using rooster sauce and hubby used Worcestershire to add flavor. Next time I'll omit spinach and add tomatoes

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
i was hesitant to make a two and a half hour spaghetti sauce, because i think prego tastes better than a lot of italian restaurant dishes, but i dont know if i will EVER use prego again!!! this was the BEST BEST BEST spaghetti ive ever had! i wasnt too crazy about the meatballs, but hubby raved about them too. the sauce was perfect the next day, made mini pizzas, and used as a dipping sauce for mozzerella sticks. i cant begin to explain how perfect all the spices were. loved it, next time i may use 2 cans of tomato paste to make it a tad bit thicker, but still, the sauce was WAY BETTER THAN AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESTAURANTS. thank you so much for a great keeper

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
so so so good, my hubbys new fave dish! (thats saying a lot, i have his mommys cooking to match! ;) ) its nice to have a slight variation by using different hot sauces, but not enough to really change the flavor of the dish! i always double to sauce to use over rice. SO DELICIOUS! thanks, gonna be a new great go-to easy dinner!

Kofta Kebabs

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2012
Amazing, amazing recipe! my hubby loves koftka at our nearby lebanese restaurant so this will be a keeper!! i did the recipe to a T and it came out terrific! i served with 2 dipping sauces, tahini for me and tzatziki for the hubbs. as were staying away from carbs, we didnt use pita, but that would have been the dish of the tasebud heaven. only thing i would change, is the place by our house serves it in a sausage type on a skewer. next time i would arrange it like so on the skewer, as the balls were hard to flip on the grill and that way it cooks all the way. besides that, it was terrific!! thank you SO much we no longer have to spend $15+/entree to get our favored koftka
