Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
This is a very good tuna casserole. I did make one alteration, however, due to reviews that said it was too dry. I added a cup of sour cream and it came out perfect. Thanks for the great recipe!

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
I've made this recipe several times for my family and it's been a hit every time. I haven't altered the recipe one whit and it comes out perfect. Although I will say, I do withhold the tsp of salt until the end, because some gravy mixes are saltier than others. I do like to add mushrooms to it, fresh if I've got them, canned if I don't. I don't have a problem with the cook time of two hours, since it really seems to make the beef become fork tender. This recipe makes plenty for a family of four, with leftovers when combined with egg noodles.

Crusty Potato Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2013
Very good bread! I don't use a bread machine these days, but this works well in a mixer too. I was surprised how quickly this dough proofed. You probably could scale back the yeast to 1 1/2 tsp. At 2 tsp i almost let it over proof in the loaf pan. Plus a longer rise would develop a little more flavor. At any rate, this bread turned out just fine and it has very good flavor. It also has a very nice crispy crust. Mine over-proofed a bit so it's super soft in the middle so keep an eye out for that. Thanks for a great recipe!

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2014
Tried this recipe and it was very good! I was a dummkopf and forgot the cinnamon in the topping, but it was still delicious. My kids ate it right up. I used unthawed frozen blueberries instead of fresh, and it increased the cook time significantly, but it turned out fine after I put a cookie sheet on the rack under it to shield it from the heat a bit. Highly recommend this recipe!
