Oatmeal Crispies II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
I thought these were pretty great, but I was the only one in my house who enjoyed them. I loved the taste. I thought they were the perfect thin crispy cookie. Some of mine must not have cooked as long as the others because they turned out a little chewier, but they were delicious too. If my whole family had loved them I would give them 5 stars. I don't know what they didn't like, they just didn't enjoy them.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
I loved everything about this recipe, and the only change I made is that my garlic came out of a jar because I hate crushing it myself. Since it came out of a jar I used less than 8 cloves. I have made this several times and the last time I only had about a 1/2 c (maybe a little less) of soy sauce, so that is all I used. Every time it is delicious. One of my favorite recipes!

Carrots Au Gratin

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2011
I made this for Thanksgiving and got mixed reviews. I enjoyed it, and several others told me they liked it, but I didn't make a whole lot and had plenty leftover. I gave it 3 because it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the big hit I had hoped it would be. I made it exactly as written.

Broccoli Beef II

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2011
So good I had to post it on FB between helpings! I didn't have mushrooms, ginger, or cornstarch and it was still worth a 5 star rating. I mixed up extra marinade to cook it in and my husband raved about the sauce. When the meat & broccoli was gone we had extra sauce to eat with the noodles (cooked 8 oz. instead of 4). Even my picky 4 yr old loved it. Definitely a keeper!

Earthquake Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
We LOVE these- make them all the time! Last night my 3yr old and I made some using yellow cake mix & Easter M&MS (no sugar or water, we use oil instead of shortening). Super fun! For Christmas she made Santa some using red velvet cake mix and we made whoopie pies with buttercream frosting in the midde! Santa LOVED them!
