Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
Delicious. I used more frozen yogurt and less juice. Mine was milk shake like, but this is what I wanted due to making this my dinner. Very filling.

Purple Monstrosity Fruit Smoothie

Very good! I replaced the OJ with Vanilla soy milk. I went with the optional honey but left out the vanilla extract. Will def. make this again.

Polish Style Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
The only thing I did different was I added some cheddar in with the potato flakes and cream cheese and then topped it off with cheddar and then the onions. I would make this again. I like the idea of maybe having it as a side dish with kielbasa though.

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
I made these this morning and they turned out great. The only thing I did different was that I peeled the potatoes before boiling them. Just a matter of personal preference, no biggie. Will make again and again!

Beer Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I was a little leary of this one, but wanted to try something different. Not bad! I can so see college and 20 something's being into this as they rarely have milk in the frig., but always have beer. This probably won't be a regular breakfast meal but for those weekend mornings when I'm out of milk it will be a go to. :)

Caper Baked Chicken

I did not like this dish. I thought it was rather bland which surprised me given the steak sauce and capers.

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
All I can say is wow! These were better than any fish taco I've had in a restaurant. The only things I changed were, I only used 1 tbl. spoon of salt. 2 sounded like way too much. Also I did not have jicama. Be warned the fish truly in fiery. If you do not like spicy you should tone the spices down.

Mexican Chocolate Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
I was really skeptical at first, but this chili had very good flavor. I used 1 tablespoon of chili powder, because I like spice. I eliminated the water, because I felt their was enough liquid with the 2 cans of diced tomatoes and I did not add the salt. I would definitely make this again.

Wow! Were these good and cheap and filling. I will be making this one again and again. The only change was I used a whole jalapeno.

BBQ Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
This was very good. I followed the directions exactly except that I left out the celery. Not a fan. I ate mine on a pita. Turned out great.
