Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
This recipe is great! I would like to know what they call a serving, because this recipe makes more than 12 pancakes! You could feed an army with these pancakes. Add a touch of cinnamon!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I really liked this recipe. I did read others comments and followed some of their suggestions and added my own. As per another review Instead of 1 cup of sugar I used 1/2 cup of white and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. I also added 1 tsp Vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon and 3 bananas. I also used whole wheat flour instead of white and 1/4 cup of ground flax seed. I only used 1 3/4 c of flour. Next time I will try only 1 1/2 c of flour because of the flax seed. It only took 50 min to bake at 325. It tastes great, although not as moist as most banana breads.

Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
They might be a healthy pancake but they taste great. Add a mashed banana or blueberries or chocolate chips before you cook them. I tried using rhubarb once, but it is too water based and does not cook the dough around it.

Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
I really like this pancake recipe. It's quick and easy. I will try different fruit later. I have put banana and it is great. I only use 1/4 tsp of salt. I had to add a little bit more milk, probably about 1/4 cup or a little bit less. Thanks for the great recipe!

Grandma's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
This is a great soup. I've made it twice and the first time I said I would use regular milk instead of the half-and-half. I guess I forgot because I made it the same way the second time. I find that the half-and-half is too rich and you can really taste it. Next time I will use regular milk to not get that cream taste.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
This was really good. Although, I put in my own seasoning since I didn't have the parika or sage. I used Montreal Steak Spice. I also used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour. Next time I am going to try and use olive oil instead of butter to try to make it a bit healthier. Thanks for the good recipe.
