Garlicky Baked Butternut Squash

For butternut squash, I thought this was a really good. The recipe fails to mention using the parmesan. I grated some over the top before cooking the last 15 minutes and then grated more after it came out. I didn't use parsley, otherwise, I cooked as stated (though might have been light on the amount of squash - it covered the bottom of a 2 qt. dish). Will definitely make again, as the family ate it up.

Herb Spread for French Bread

I'm a fan of all the ingredients and really looked forward to this recipe. However, I found this to be overpowered by the onions, and didn't care for the overall flavor of it. It was definitely edible, just not one I'd try again.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Very good. Usually find kabobs to be on the dry side, but each time we've done these, they haven't been, and they have a good flavor. I like to be able to marinate it for 5 hours plus. We use mushrooms, onions, sweet peppers, chicken, and cherry tomatoes (tried pineapple once and didn't care for). 3 big breasts can make 10-12 skewers. My husband isn't the biggest fan, however, made for my 20+ family this summer and got rave reviews.

Ground Venison Burgers

I'm not a huge fan of deer meat and if I'm making burgers with them, I usually have to add regular hamburger as well. Not anymore. Thank you to the submitter!! Will use this recipe everytime to make deer burgers. I make them exactly as stated (but usually add more lime juice and peel). Don't skirt out on making the sauce - it's really good, and adds a whole new dimension. The kids (1 & 3) don't even mind the jalapenos, as they are cut up fine enough and seeds removed.

Seven Spiced Shark Steaks

WAY too much rub and too spicy (we like spice too). Had to remove the entire rub in order to eat it, which was still hard to do. Would not recommend.

Roasted Kohlrabi

Wouldn't make again. Our family would much rather prefer this uncooked and sliced (sometimes with a dash of salt). I was looking for a different way to eat it, but will go back to the old standby.
