Neat Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2012
This is so good! Kids and adults alike love it. I used apple cider vinegar and cut the sugar in half (diabetic people were eating this). I buttered the buns and toasted them in the oven. After spooning meat mixture on buns I topped with pepper jack cheese and a tiny bit finely shredded cabbage. So good!!

Shredded Beef Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
my family loved this! I only had one green pepper on hand so that is whatIi used and it was great. I do not like BBQ sauce and I loved this. I put one slice of pepper jack cheese, baked beans, and watermelon. It was the perfect summer meal that is easy to make for a lot of people. thanks for the recipe!

Rhubarb Sour Cream Pie

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO GOOD!! So I have made this now about 4 times in less than 10 days b/c we keep going to BBQ's or parties and this is a hit everytime. It only lasts a few minutes. So I made a couple changes. I wanted this dish to be bigger, so I followed the recipe exactly but doubled it and made my own pie dough to place in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. then the only thing i changed was add one extra tablespoon of butter and 1/2 cup of instant oats. it ends up more like a cobbler but still just as good. My friends who don't even like rhbarb, love this recipe. thank you for sharing it with us!

Ground Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
I loved this recipe! My 2yr old loved it to. I made a few changes though. First I used half a sweet medium onion to brown with the ground beef and a small (3oz) can of roasted jalapenos. Be sure to use corn tortillas or it will be soggy. Also, I used sour cream instead of yogurt b/c that is what I had. I added one can water to the cream of soup mixture b/c it was really thick. After, I put 1cp of Mexican shredded cheese on top. Finally after it was baked just before serving I topped the dish with fresh diced tomatoes and green onions. It was beautifu as well as so easy and good!

Cream of Broccoli Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
My whole family, even the 2 yr old loved this soup. The only thing I added was one tsp of nutmeg. the nutmeg takes out the bitter broccoli taste. I have made this soup several times and will make it again!

Best Football Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
I have taken this dip to my Bunco group and everyone loved it! BUT I did make a few changes. I put taco seasoning the meat, used hot salsa, and the mexican flavored velveta cheese. Then i topped it with fresh tomato, green onions, and olives ( I like the color and flavor). ALso I doubled the recipe because I was feeding 16 adults. This is a great easy dip to make. I have also made it with ground turkey and no one knew the difference.

Artichoke Dip I

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
I made this dip for my BUNCO group and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it! I did change a couple things. First I used three 6.5 oz jars drained and chopped, next I used 4 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, and 1/2 cup sour cream (along with the mayo) I also put in a table spoon of Worchestershire sauce. I followed the other reviews and dd not over bake. It was wonderful! Next time I might add some peppers for a little spice.
