Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2015
Out of this world. Followed recipe (hard for me to do) and we loved them. Made them for Super Bowl and tonight making them but with strips of chicken breast. Thanks for the recipe. Have a feeling the breasts won't be as good as the wings. Super simple too!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2014
Using the exact recipe but halving everything. This was the BEST BBQ pulled chicken. Chicken wasn't dry. Sauce perfect. I cooked 3 boneless chicken breast thawed. On high for almost 3 hrs. Removed and using forks made bigger chunks so wouldn't turn to mush. Cooked for almost another hr on low. The last 1/2 and hr took lid off so it wouldn't be dry. I'm cooking it right now and oh sweet baby ray tops it off!!

Slow Cooker Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2014
I reduced the amount of cayenne. Cooking time was less and I also put it in my vitamix to make it smooth like tomato sauce. It was so very good. Need to get lots of tomato's so I can make it in my big crock pot and freeze some. Was so yummy over wheat angel hair pasta with lightly grated fresh parm. Thanks for the Recipe as I refuse to eat anything from a can.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2014
Really enjoyed this chicken. I marinated for 2 days. I used less mustard as my spouse doesn't like mustard. I snuck it in there to my surprise absolutely loved it. We grilled it on the barbeque so delish. I could taste the mustard and was a perfect blend. Had to give up the secret ingredient but was asked to make this again.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2014
I marinated the pork for 72 hrs. Used 1 Tablespoon of Raspberry Vinegar, 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar. (Had no Sherry) Grilled it outside and OHMYGOSH...It was so good. We were eating it standing up. All the flavors came together and made such a wonderful Pork. Between 2 of us we almost ate 2lbs of pork. Call us porkers but it was just so good. Side dish was a baked Yam. Thanks for the recipe. I want another one.

I just made these however,, only made like 15-20 of them. Didn't want to waste my Kale if I didn't like them. OMGOSH !!! I forgot to look at the clock and I set my timer wrong. Opened oven tried one. Pulled them out and to my DELIGHT. I LOVE THEM. Only used what was posted and they were perfect. Thank you Lucy as I'm 98 percent of the time a very healthy eater. Ps...I didn't even get them in a bowl I gobbled them down. :D

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Hard to rate when you modify someone's recipe. I gave this a four due to not following it to a T. Something was missing and I can't imagine how it would have taste, if I didn't alter it. I placed sliced onions in bottom of crockpot, and seasoned meat with garlic powder, ground blk pepper, and a tad of sea salt. Used our Sweet Baby Ray's (never fails us) however something was missing. We don't like original coleslaw. So we substituted shredded coleslaw (cabbage only) for a bit of crunch. Was good and will make again. Gonna put my palet to work on this one. Could it be because I didn't have a dutch oven or cast iron skillet. Don't think so.....thanks for the recipe it was good just not a five star.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Since my daughter gave me this recipe, I have made it a lot. I love it even as a Main Course. I love the cumin flavor and sort of kick it up with a little more than it calls for. Even just a tad more cayenne pepper. All the flavors marry together and simply srumdillyishous. Aside from adding a little bit more to spice it up. I followed the recipe to a T. Thanks for the recipe. Ps. I had to buy the Quinoa at Trader Joe's. It is also pronounced Keen-wah. For those who try to pronounce it like I did at the grocery store incorrectly

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Absolutely delicious. I used more oil (olive oil) to brown the chicken. Italian Panko instead of breadcrumbs. Made it taste so yummy. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. I've made this numerous times and we eat it all up. I'm not one for breaded food, but the Panko changed all that. Served with linquini. (May have spelled that wrong) I have no more left to use as a spelling reference. All the times I've made it, I've used different kinds of cheese on top. From Provolone, Mozz. and Jack cheese. You have to try this. #1 in my book. Thanks for a great recipe that was excellent and so simple.
