Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I cut this recipe in half and it turned out great. I do not have a sweet tooth at all, but didn't find this frosting too sweet- a little tangy, but so good. I used it to top home made cinnamon rolls (Clone of a Cinnabon recipe from allrecipes) and it was fantastic!

Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
Yum! This was a great recipe for steaming clams. We also threw in mussels and it was so delicious. I added in some roughly chopped green onion and tomato when we added the clams and mussels. It was just something we enjoyed from a restaurant once and I had the items on hand. This is a keeper! Thanks for the recipe!

The Most Incredible Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
I thought this was very good overall, but I did change it a bit. I minced up my garlic and used more then the recipe called for- I love garlic! I didn't add any of the olive oil to the cream cheese mixture. It was a good way to cut out a lot of fat from the recipe and it was creamy enough without it. I also stirred in the Parmesan with the rest of the cheese mixture because I didn't want it to brown too quickly and not warm up the rest of the cheese. I used fresh basil because I had some on hand. It turned out great! Overall I thought it was a very good garlic cheesy bread. I'll be making it again, only with my modifications.

Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
This was a good sauce recipe, but I did make a few changes. Not fond of jarred sauces, I used canned diced tomatoes and added chopped onion as my sauce starting point. I added more garlic and some parmesan cheese to the sauce as it cooked for more flavor. I also added just a touch more half and half for a creamier texture. My sauce did thicken as it simmered and as recommened I made more pasta than the recipe stated. It turned out quite good- I will make this again, but with my variations.

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2005
What a great change of pace from the regular BBQ ribs... We marinated our ribs overnight with the sauce then grilled with the sauce in foil pouches and had delicious, tender, meat falling off the bone ribs! Thank you for this keeper!

Barbecue Ribs

This marinade was so amazing! Don't let the combination of ingredients fool you- once cooked (we cooked the rack of ribs wraped in foil on the grill) it tastes so yummy- the meat was falling off the bone- my new favorite BBQ rib recipe. Thank you so much!

Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2005
Yummy! The only thing I added was a bit of salt and pepper to the corn flake mixture. I covered my dish with foil for part of the cooking time, but removed it so the coating could get crisp. This recipe was so easy to make and tasted great. The chicken was very moist and the coating added a great crunch...top with extra cheddar if you'd like. I will be making this recipe again...soon I might add! Thanks!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2005
Wow- these are fantastic! I've made these cinnamon rolls several times and have had success every time. I use the dough cycle on my bread machine and have had no problems with the end result. Better make a double batch- they will go quick!!!

Sour Cream Chicken Paprika

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2005
I thought this was a good recipe, but it needed more flavor to suit our tastes. I added 2 cloves garlic (love that stuff!), crushed red pepper, and some fresh chopped parsley at the end before serving. I didn't have egg noodles on hand, so I cooked spaghetti and mixed it with the chicken/sauce. Next time I think I'll try adding more flavor such as mushrooms, roasted red pepper, or some parmesan cheese. Play with this recipe to suit your own tastes.

Scallop Scampi

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2004
This was so good! I used 1/2 shimp and 1/2 scallops for this recipe and it still turned out great. I also thickened the sauce and made it a bit more creamy at the end by dissolving corn starch in some milk. This definately tastes like a great dish from a restaurant. I will make this one again!

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2004
This was so easy and very delicious! Its one of those desserts that will fool others in thinking you spent lots of time making it! I think this is one of the best recipes to make if you have extra bananas. I tried adding some banana rum I had on hand and it turned out just as great. Enjoy!

Kentucky Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2003
This is a delicious recipe. I've made it several times for the holidays and get rave reviews. Its very simple to make, however I've always had to bake it longer than 60 minutes. That's never been an issue for the end result! Enjoy!

Baked French Fries II

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2003
This was a great way to make homemade fries. I ended up adding all the ingredients into a ziploc bag and shaking it really well to evenly coat the fries. I placed them on a piece of foil (spray the foil so fries don't stick) on a baking sheet, and that made clean up super quick and easy. Great fries!!

American Lasagna

If I could give this 10 stars I would! This was then most amazing lasagna I have ever had! I've made this lots of times now and I have never cooked the lasagna noodles. It saves time and the noodles soak up all the extra flavor of the sauce. It turns our so flavorful every time! This is perfect with some garlic bread and a salad.

This sounded interesting and different- but it tastes really good. Instead of Russian style dressing I used Western and it turned out just as great. Tonight I'm trying this with pork...I'm sure it will turn out just as perfect! Thanks!
