This was great and easy. My husband likes spicey, so I put cayenne pepper in it. Thanks.

Carrot Rice

This was fantastic! I only added about 1/4 of an onion and left out the cayenne, because I wanted my children to like it. They did. Even my 9 month old loved it.

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
The fact that this quiche has no crust is what I love about it. I usually modify it just a bit, though. Different cheeses and meats. Green peppers.

Cayenne Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
Kind of boring. It tastes like a pretzel with a nice after-taste. It would be easy to modify though. Maybe add some dry mustard.

Picnic Potato Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
I added about 1/3 of a cup of jalapeno relish. Much better that way. I also added celery, no mint but fresh dill instead.

I didn't have buttermilk, so I used half & half. Mine also didn't turn paste-like. But, actually turned out awesomely anyway...

Salmon Cakes II

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
These were a great way to use up the canned salmon I had. The first time I made these, they fell apart & were a mess. This time I added 2 eggs instead of 1 & that helped a lot..

Three-Bean Garden Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
I changed it up a bit...I didn't do lima beans, or mushrooms (yuck). I added a can of chic peas, wax beans & I used canned green beans instead. Turned out great. We love these types of salads. A great way to get your protein. :-)

Cheesy Calzones

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
I was really disappointed in how mine turned out... First of all, the dough I bought was square, so it was difficult to fold over properly. Some parts of the edges were too thin and the cheese mixture leaked out. Other parts I had to trim off entirely. Also, I think the temp. was too high. They started getting real dark and I still had 7 minutes to go. So I took them out, which meant the center wasn't totally hot. Also, I think next time I'll lessen the cheese and add Italian sausage and black olives. Although the cheesy was good, it was also boring. My kids loved it though! Overall it was good, but not great.

PHILADELPHIA-OREO No-Bake Cheesecake

Very good, real sweet. A little piece goes a long way. I had to take some to work and share just so I wouldn't eat it all.:-)
