Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
This is a good recipe, the best advice I can think of is to spice to taste, Cayenne has a kick. Only modification I did was to omit the sausage and stir in cooked rice.( I also cooked my rice with half water and half chicken broth)

Fry Bread Tacos II

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
So easy compared to the fry bread I grew up on. The toppings can be changed to suit your taste. Personally I like it as a dessert covered in honey!

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
This was a 1st time recipe for me so I had no clue what to expect. I did not stray from the recipe for that reason. Okay, so I did sneak in a little more cinnamon throughout the day. This was an easy no fuss recipe!

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
Had to sub milk and parm. cheese, and it was still good! If you are unsure of the cayenne, remember that less is more.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Easy Easy Easy!Season to taste. Very versatile recipe, I used 1 can mushroom and 1 can chicken. I also only added 1 package of ref. bisquits, 2 would of been to much for us.

I didn't grow up with liver but these are AWESOME! Took advice on soaking liver in milk first. Try not to overcook.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
OMG, we have subbed different puddings and it doesn't harm the cookies. (Ended up with sugar free cheesecake once and they were still awesome) I wasn't big on our choc. pudding batch though. But all those got eaten just the same. This is def. a keeper!

OMG! I have never really tried a sweet salad and this was a hit all around. Did omit poppy seeds and left onion on the side.

Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
This is such a good chili. Don't fret if you don't have all the ingredients! Things can be substituted or omitted. For instance I didn't have tomato juice on hand so I used tomato paste and water.

Habanero Salsa

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
Remember to do a taste test, since everyone likes more or less of certain spices. I found it to be a little bland since I am a garlic lover but this is a GOOD recipe, very versatile. Thanks for sharing!

was enjoyable not much for a main course but great for a side. Might lower the pepper a bit because you can always add to taste but not take away.

Thank you so much for sharing this! Love how the cheese is all stringy with each bite! A little bland, I would reccommend adding more italian seasoning. I used a Bertolli sauce.
