About this Cook
I love to cook! Unfortunately with my busy lifestyle I don't always have the time to spend in the kitchen. I love to experiment with different recipies. I do use my friends as "taste testers", for the most part they seem pleased to indulge in my practice sessions!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook spareribs, and I enjoy the BBQ. I enjoy soups and sauces (I am polish...) I tend to have a vegetarian diet myself, but I love to cook meat dishes for my family and friends.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Not sure, will have to think about this one. My Mom and Grandma were great cooks...Gravy, we have always made good gravy!
My cooking triumphs
Have a few, but only in my kitchen with friends and family. Have never entered any contests, although my friend told me I should go on that show where you invite critics into your home to cook them a dinner..not sure about that one!
My cooking tragedies
There have been a few along the way. Can't think of a most embarassing moment right now, if I do I will post it!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake
This was so good! I always make it as the recipe states for the first time and rating. It was amazing. I did add raspberry flavoring the second time, and that was amazing too. Just plain delicious! Thanks for a great cake...3/31/2012 - Making this AGAIN! I love it! But I do only use 1 cup of chocolate chips now, YUM!

Double Tomato Bruschetta
This is so good! The first time I make recipes I do it exact to the recipe, and this one did not disappoint. The only thing I can even think of that may be added is some diced sweet onion. I may try that, but will definately make this over and over again! Thanks for a great recipe! Jan 6, 2012 - I had a craving for these again, so I did a double workout at the gym, came home with a fresh baguette, plum tomatoes and fresh basil. I am biting into these as I write, these are to good for words! I now dip my brush into the juice of the tomato mixture, spread it on the bread and brown in 400* oven prior to piling the bruchetta mixture on top. Today I added some sweet onions finely chopped...yum yum!!
