Crunch's Lentil Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2014
My favorite part is how to cook the lentils and the bulgur in ONE pot! Aside from that, it is a good template for many different combinations of vegetables and always tasty.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Super easy, super fluffy, all ingredients on hand. What more do you need in a pancake?

Chocolate Mousse Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2014
Lovely lightness to this pie -- unless you leave it sitting out too long! Quality chocolate makes all the difference -- and I skipped the almonds for mine. Quick, easy, airy, wonderful!

Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2014
EASY to make and so thick and delicious. I took it to Pi Day at work and it won second place! (Only because I brought in another Chocolate Mousse Pie I made and they split the chocolate vote! ;-)

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2014
The taste is amazing ... it is very, very moist. I put in 3 medium bananas and that was too much, so the middle didn't set properly. But that is on me (I never get out cups to measure bananas and just use what is on hand) and not on the recipe. Huge hit at work -- recipe was requested.

My Grandma's Shoo-Fly Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
Easy. Tasted like I expected. I've never had Shoo-Fly before, but those that had said it was spot on. Thank you!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
My Daughter even liked the taste, however, the cooking time is too long. It was quite dry, which made me sad.

Tango Mango Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
It is pretty sweet, not enough spice. But, it comes together well. Don't trust how it looks before you put in the plum sauce, it turns out darned tasty!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
It really is delicious. I didn't have sauce and salsa in those sizes, so I used 16 oz of salsa and just one 15 oz can of sauce. It really is delicious. Oh, I only used 1 pound of ground beef and Hubby didn't notice at all. :-D

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
I've been making this one for years and it is so easy and tasty. I change nothing and people love it EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! I use sweet apples, I use tart, it makes no difference. It really is just tasty. I find 5 to 6 apples is what is needed for 10 cups.

Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2011
Truly excellent. Cooked just as stated and even my picky daughter ate her roast portion. It's been awhile since she willingly ate roast.

Really easy and quick. Didn't thicken up like I expected following the recipe. Thanks for a great idea! Easy base to tweak.

Cucumber Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
So simple and healthy! I added an orange pepper to it and used red onions (be careful, these can be overpowering). It was all eaten up. :-)

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Very tender and moist. The sauce didn't caramelize for me even with cooking it in a pot first. Excellent flavor that wasn't too much like BBQ sauce, more reminiscent of a Chinese chicken. Very good!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
The flavor is amazing, always does turn out right. The only "problem" is a lack of drippings for gravy. But, since that isn't the turkey itself, it doesn't detract from my rating. The best thing about this recipe, timing has never been off. The turkey is always done when the recipe says it will be done. (Something we've struggled with a lot.)

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Really quite tasty. Not something to make too often, but a nice departure from the "white" chicken recipes.
