Homemade Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: May 3, 2012
These were fantastic! Easy to make. I used Crisco and they tasted fine. Have to get a tortilla press though so I can make them faster! Hubby loved them and he knows tortillas! I made cinnamon sugared sopaipilla's with the leftovers.

Strawberry Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
FANTASTIC! My family requests this pie all the time! I agree you need more cookies for the yummy crust or using a ready made crust works great too. I even used a regular pie crust and it turned out SUPER! You can get really creative with toppings on here too! (Choc. Jimmies, Chocolate shavings, drizzle of chocolate or home made strawberry syrup - Endless!)

Coconut-Lime Sorbet

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
Excellent recipe, easy and a huge hit. Anyone who reviews it as too tart wasn't using the correct ingredients ,i.e. Coconut milk/cream rather than Cream of Coconut. Lime zest over the top as a garnish was a great suggestion!

This was FANTASTIC! Do Not Double the sauce...quadruple it! Easy Dish! quick to Fix. Will make over and over! Fresh stirfry veggies are best with it. Frozen one's turn to mush. Love it!

Very good! Very easy! My family is Indian food savvy and this recipe satisfied that craving for my whole family (and saved me $85.00)! Makes a good amount of sauce. Will definitely make again!

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
This is a great recipe! The only thing I want to add is that to get that authentic "taste" of restaurant fried rice, you should add about half a bottle of Oyster Sauce. Easily found in the asian section at the grocery store. Back off on that much if it tastes too strong, but after years of living in Japan and trying many versions of fried rice recipes, oyster sauce is the ticket!

This recipe is fantastic! I will definitely include this in the recipe book I'm creating for my daughters as a standard for cornbread.

Sesame Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
This is a fabulous recipe! We've lived in Japan, we adore Asian food of all kinds and the sauce here is as good as it gets. I backed off on the garlic a little and served with Japanese soba noodles. My family went nuts - In a good way!!

Dark Rye Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2004
This indeed was a great recipe! So very flavorful! I didn't have rye flour so I substitued the same amount of whole wheat flour, even added the caraway seeds and it just turned out incredibly yummy!
