About this Cook
Worked as a sois chef long before Gordon Ramsey made cooking "cool." I have traveled the world and had some of the best cuisine! I lived in The Phillipines, Argentina, and Thailand as a child.
My favorite things to cook
Satay (Thai meat skewer), Fried Chicken, and any BBQ or Southern Comfort Foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am Thai-American; however, my mom always pointed out growing up that I am more on the "American" side.
My cooking triumphs
I successfully ran a small stand at the local farmer's market for about 6 months. We specialized in deep fried turkey and have cooked hundreds since then!
My cooking tragedies
I am not a baker; the flaming candied yams--Thanksgiving 2002.

Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese I
I had some great crock pot mac & cheese at a church potluck once--I have been looking for this recipe forever. Yes, I added the dry mustard and tweaked it out a bit, I noticed that others did too. I believe that adding something special to make it your own is what separates those of us who can really cook vs. others that rely on just following a recipe! Thanks so much for sharing it!

Hot Bean Dip
Awesome! I have been looking for this recipe for quite sometime!!! I have made this dozens of times since finding it. I followed the recipe almost exactly and have had nothing but rave reviews!!! Thanks so much for sharing it. The only changes I have made was to try different cheeses, like pepperjack or a light mexican queso. Thanks again!

Special Beef Rendang Curry
Love it!!! This recipe is similar to my mom's. Recommend leaving out the shrimp. though. For a great flavor to enhance the curry, try with cooked crumbled bacon on top, and serve over steamed Thai Jasmine rice! Delicious!!! Thanks so much for sharing it, my mother passed away when I was young, and I never did get the original recipe, this one is the most similar that I have found to date. Krup Khun Ka!!!
