Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
Santa will be sad that these won't last until his arrival! Amazing!!! I do have to admit that I love the salty with the sweet contrast, so I tripled (yes...tripled) the salt that the recipe called for. I also sprinkled a little extra salt on top prior to baking. Not too salty in my opinion! These also got the stamp of approval from my husband and our 22 month old. Oh...I used a corse kosher salt. I was also intimidated by cutting the caramel aspect. I got out the scissors and voila! So super easy. I will definitely make these again although I might make smaller cookies! Yum!!!

Cajun Chicken and Sausage Gumbo
Love! Love! Love! Other reviews state that they wanted their gumbo thicker, so they only used half the roux. I recommend adding okra to the mix following the recipe exactly! I'm not sure what it is about okra, but it has a thickening effect which is perfect for this recipe! Follow what you like when you're making this recipe though...if you LOVE celery...add more! If you don't like green peppers...leave them out! (I always add more celery and garlic!) Delicious and worth the prep and cook time!

Shortcut Chicken Manicotti
I wasn't thrilled about making this dish because there isn't a picture, but I had the ingredients in my pantry and was desperate for something new. My husband and I love this dish! I agree with other users that the prep time is much longer than fifteen minutes, but it's worth the work! I do make a couple minor changes though. I season the stuffing with garlic, salt, and pepper. I add pepper to the sauce, and I also add about 3/4 cup of grated Swiss cheese to the sauce. I've also opted for salt and pepper in the sauce rather than the Italian seasoning, but I do add the parsley to the sauce rather than putting it on top. Also, I have not sprinkled the cheddar cheese on top, but it's just because I haven't had any the couple times I've made the recipe!
