About this Cook
My name is Joelle :) and I am 15 years old. I live in the country with my parents and 4 siblings. I also have a married sister and a niece and a nephew :) I am homeschooled and love it! I cook mostly dinners but I like to bake desserts better. (who doesn't? :) My favorite things to do is write stories, read books, do stuff on the computer, and play the piano.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook mostly desserts (cakes), but I cook our family's dinner every other night so I like yummy main dishes also! I love lemon dishes, like cakes and bars! One of my favorites is lemon pecan loaf! You can find it on my submitted recipies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have really good 'green jello' (like ambrosia salad) every Thanksgiving....thats definitely my favorite!
My cooking triumphs
Butter pecan cake, lemon coconut cake... I made butter pecan cake and took it to a potluck and everyone loved it!
My cooking tragedies
I didn't make enough food for dinner and so we all had to go skimpy! :)

Bake Sale Lemon Bars
These are good and easy to make but hard to get out of the pan, even after I greased it. I dont know what else you can do to make it more easier to get out of the pan. And I would maybe double the lemon part, there wasn't very much. :) But they were good!
