Light and fluffy, the faux "buttermilk" makes them light as a cloud. I did add 1/2 tsp. of vanilla and a bit of milk as it was a little too thick. As others noted, the batter got better with each set cooked. I'll let it set and "ferment" next time. I will try again with pecan bits or chocolate chips, maybe a bit of pumpkin & cinnamon for the holidays! yummy!
