Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
These were good and very easy, my 2 year old helped me make them and loved them as well. I added 3 tbsp honey and substituted applesauce and raisins instead. They were not too sweet but still good.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
Great recipe I make this all the time, to make it healthier I make with whole wheat flour instead. I also substitute applesauce for the butter and use 1/2 cup sugar or honey & add raisins. I usually will omit the topping altogether but still tastes great!

Spaghetti and Clams

Very good! I over did it w/the salt by salting the spaghetti water but I fixed it by rinsing it and adding a splash of milk, next time I will be more carefull, but good dish!

Hubby loved this, I had to put fried corn tortillas, cut into strips instead of fritos because I didn't have any, I also used mozarella because I didn't have any other kind and was still good!

very good as is. I made it sticky and came out good, just used a spoon w/flour on it to scoop out the dough as someone suggested. It was a little bit plain tasting though might try honey next time.

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Didnt have the right sugar so just used regular sugar and blended into a powder, I blended 1 Cup and 1/3 of sugar and ended up using half of that only because it was too sweet allready, cant imagine it at 5 cups!

Made with full fat evaporated milk and added 1/3 cocoa, tastes like a wendys chocolate frosty. Also dont have an ice cream maker so just froze in a baking pan with foil for an hour.

Baked Oatmeal Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
I think the trick to these not falling apart might be to press them firmly in your pan, letting them sit in the oven another 5 minutes (turned off) then waiting until they are cooled to cut. I had no problem with mine falling apart and this is all I did different besides eliminating the sugar for stevia.
