Retired Armed Forces in 1972 after 20 years of service, 16 years US Navy_12 years @sea. Last four years changed over to the US Air Force rate for rate and choice of duty for two years. Nuc Tech last 10 years of service. Gunners Mate before that. Could use some good ole' Navy recipes, never got a bad dessert on any ship or base while in the Navy. Hardly ever refused their cooking either. Some of the best cook's was Navy cook's and I have been all over the world and ate @ many plush eateries and Hotels and found almost all places to eat had outstanding service people who served you and they actually take that on as an educated job. Not quite like the service people in most eateries in the states who are normally uppity and only fake the goodness to get a good tip. Maybe it would be a good idea to add the tip to the bill like most foriegn countries do.(P.S. You can allways hand your good server some extra gratuity)
