Chewy Crispy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Subbed Frosted Flakes as we were out of Corn Flakes. Really exceptional cookie! About the only thing we'd do different is the addition of chocolate to make these off-the-chart delicious!

Really having fun "experimenting" with this loaf! Seems very versatile and makes a really nice "lunch" bread at our house! A must try!

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Pretty good as is. I'm gonna read up on some other reviews and I'll see. Our first batch with a new bread machine, so could be me, too. I'll let you know! A definite "must try" and I'll even say, "Try Again!"

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
If store bought Soft-Batch cookies are your ultimate chocolate chip cookie than this may be the recipe for you. I found the dough to be not as flavorful as I'd like, but the texture, chip ratio per cookie, and ease to make were all good.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
I've got a great zucchini bread recipe that never fails. And now, I've got a NEW great zucchini bread recipe! This is fantastic! I increased the zucchini to nearly 4 cups, split the oil in half and replaced with applesauce and increased the spices per the other reviews. You should definitely try this one!

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Decadent is probably the only way to describe this. Served at our company Christmas party with an oreo crust and dark chocolate ganache topping. Needless to say, I'm very popular with the coworkers! Plan on cutting very small pieces...it is that rich. Or plan on a chocolate-induced coma. Amazing!

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Great recipe! Used the applesauce and doubled the spices per other reviewers (still could've used more cinnamon for our tastes) and the cake turned out brilliant. Simple and delicious. I have been informed that I should make this every day until Christmas!

Italian Pinwheel Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
Fantastic! Loved by adults and kids alike! I did proof the yeast before mixing...recipe is a bit vague about this. Used Kithenaid Mixer with dough hook. Dough was a bit sticky, but I was wary of using too much flour (per others comments). Hand-kneaded additional flour into dough before initial rise but dough was still nice and light and easy to work with. Only other change was placing cut dough in lighly oiled muffin tins for second rise and baking. Dough had excellent oven spring and the rolls finished looking almost like a spiraled ice cream cone (I wish I would've taken a picture, but they're all gone)! The Italian filling was delicious (Would've maybe preferred using less minced garlic and more cheese finishing with some garlic butter after the rolls baked...but they were great as is!). Dough seems like it would be very versatile with a variety of savory or sweet fillings! Would highly recommend!
