Tudor Recipe for Ginger Beer

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
It is good but very strong for my taste. I think the next time I make it I will add an additional 2 1/2 cups of water and another 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Has a unique taste compared to my ginger ale pallette. Update: The ginger beer has been in my refridgerator for 3 weeks now and has mellowed considerably. I guess the longer it ages the better it gets. I'll make the original recipe, only doubling it next time so I have some to sip on while batch number 3 ages.

Refrigerator Pickles

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2010
Yum! The flavor was there! Used one cup of sugar and it was great. Will try to slice the cukes a little thicker so they aren't so limp. Reminds of the kind my mom used to make

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
A big thumbs up!!! Followed the recipe except the store didn't have peanut butter chips so I used a full bag of chocolate/peanut butter swirl chips. Wow!! These cookies are so light and moist and flavorful! I usually hate using cocoa powder because it makes the dough sticky, but I'll keep a container on the shelf just for these!

10 Minute Zesty Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
good stuff! I had dehydrated jalepeno and cilantro from Penzeys that I used. It used up a little of the liquid from the tomatoes. Added a dquirt of lime juice to it and it was great

America's Favorite Grilled Cheese Sandwich

OMG!!!! This is so good! I had a little left over bacon, and you know what?? I put it on the sandwich BEFORE I put it in the pan and the cheese melted on top of it and it tasted so good! This was really incredible and can't wait to make this for my family on Thanksgiving!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
This was really good soup. I added a second box of Rice a Roni and instead of water used more chicken broth (a total of eight cups of broth if using two boxes, otherwise six cups). I added carrots, celery and onion with the butter and sweated them for a few minutes. I used skim milk which thickened very well with the flour mixture. I let the soup simmer for an hour or so to let everything marry and then dug into the greatest chicken and wild rice soup I've ever made.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2004
This was pretty good...better than what my wife usually makes, although a little dry. Used 2 cans tuna, 2 cans soup, 1 can milk. Maybe a cup of dour cream would moisten it up a little more. We'll tinker with it until it's good.
