Quinoa Vegetable Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
Excellent recipe! I used dried herbs instead of fresh ones, and still tastes great. I also ate it hot, just mixing the cold veggies in while the quinoa was still hot. I don't give it 5 stars because I thought it was TOO SALTY! 2 tsb salt is too much! I'll happily eat this batch but next time I'll be much more sparing with the salt. And forget adding more salt when you mix in the veggies! No need!

Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
As someone who has NEVER cooked turkey before, I must say: Fantastic Recipe! I did listen to other recommendations to put small slits in the turkey and fill them with garlic. I also buttered the turkey before covering it in herbs and it was sooo good! I had to halve everything since I was using a 2.5 pound turkey breast, but it was still amazing!

Herbed Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Very yummy but make sure to pour the liquids in slowly or else you'll end up with an extremely runny bowl of mashed potatoes. I stupidly poured both measurements of sour cream and milk in all at once and found my mash to be way too runny. Unless that's how you like it!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
Amazing!! I've never EVER made a pie before and I was skeptical about how it would turn out. It was delicious (a bit sweet but that's pecan pie for you), and I ended up listening to other reviews which recommended adding extra pecans and taking care to not burn the top. Super delicious!
