My backround is mexican, so of course anything mexican to me is great! although lately I find myself looking to my other husband Rick Bayless for recipes!Im looking for a more contemporary mexican way of cooking.I love Martha Stewart recipes, Im crazy about trying new receipes! I spend my weekend trying new dishes for my lovely family!

My favorite family cooking traditions
I just began mine last x-mas! before I say this I want to say it sadens me deeply to say my mother never really began any traditions with me and 2 sisters, so NOW that I have the little girl I always waited for , I can begin my own! I made tamales with my 3 year old daughter 'frida' and she loved it so much she cant wait for x-mas! we had a fun time doing this old mexican tradition.

Do it with alll love! if you are not cooking and thinking of love you food will not transmit that! I hav always said the kitchen is the place in the house where there is so much love and happiness

Holiday Cranberry Sauce
This recipe was such a sucess! the recipe was soo easy to follow! the only thing I would change would be not so much sugar, maybe only half of what theyre asking for. and I added a small pinch of ground cloves , and 2 whole cloves, it gave it an amazing flavor. I also took the advice of the ohter reviews and added the small stick of cinnamon.
