About this Cook
My backround is mexican, so of course anything mexican to me is great! although lately I find myself looking to my other husband Rick Bayless for recipes!Im looking for a more contemporary mexican way of cooking.I love Martha Stewart recipes, Im crazy about trying new receipes! I spend my weekend trying new dishes for my lovely family!
My favorite things to cook
my favorite things to cook? well I cant say? my likes and loves are many.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I just began mine last x-mas! before I say this I want to say it sadens me deeply to say my mother never really began any traditions with me and 2 sisters, so NOW that I have the little girl I always waited for , I can begin my own! I made tamales with my 3 year old daughter 'frida' and she loved it so much she cant wait for x-mas! we had a fun time doing this old mexican tradition.
My cooking triumphs
learnig to cook!
My cooking tragedies
Do it with alll love! if you are not cooking and thinking of love you food will not transmit that! I hav always said the kitchen is the place in the house where there is so much love and happiness

Holiday Cranberry Sauce
This recipe was such a sucess! the recipe was soo easy to follow! the only thing I would change would be not so much sugar, maybe only half of what theyre asking for. and I added a small pinch of ground cloves , and 2 whole cloves, it gave it an amazing flavor. I also took the advice of the ohter reviews and added the small stick of cinnamon.
