Sauerkraut-Stuffed Slow-Cooked Pork Roast

i made this last night and it was really good. it was so moist and tender. i let it cook for about 8 1/2-9 hrs. my husband actually shut it off when he got home from the field. i did add about 1/2 a can(6ozs) of beer.i think next time though i will let the kraut and roast sit over night together and let the roast absorb some of the flavor from the kraut.

Cucumbers in Cream

this is the way my mother in law makes it but with out the vinegar and parsley. it is soooooooooooo good. my lil sister wanted the recipe so i sent her mine then i found this one and sent it to her also. i know she will love it along with my dad and nephews.

Chris' Kraut

My husbands family is all german and the first time i had this i LOVED it. i hate kraut on any thing else. the only thing different we do is: brown sugar instead of white. and we ALWAYS mix chopped hot dogs in it. and we don't add water. we serve this on top of mashed potatoes.
