Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
These were great! I doubled the recipe, and did 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup brown sugar. I also rolled the balls in granulated sugar prior to baking. I baked for 10 mins, took them out, quickly popped in the hershey kisses (with a twist) and put back in the oven for 1 min. They came out perfect and are very, very rich. They go great with a glass of milk. Nice, simple recipe- thanks for this one!

Oven-Baked Caramel French Toast
I'm quite surprised at all the good reviews on here. I made this for brunch, and wasn't too thrilled with it. Two of my kids liked it, two didn't, and hubby didn't. I used fresh Italian bread, followed the recipe and must say that it initially looked delicious. I served it, and was disappointed. The bread was mushy and looked like... well, let's just say it was mushy. The caramel on the bottom became hard as a rock within minutes of serving. As I was eating it, I was concerned about my dental work. We couldn't have seconds, as it was all just too hard. The taste was okay, certainly not worth making again. I was going to give this three stars, but hubby, who usually praises everything I make, whether good or bad, quietly said, "Two Stars". I took his advice.

Buttery Soft Pretzels
Wow- these were way better than I thought they would be. No difference between the pretzel stores at the mall, other than theirs might look a little prettier than mine. I made a small first batch, to experiment with the amount of Kosher salt I was putting on, and used less for the second batch. Brushed the baked pretzels with some melted butter and they were truly delicious. I also used some of the dough to wrap hot dogs up. Added a light sprinkling of cheese and they were great. Will definitely make again- great recipe, Christa! :)
