Lemon Pie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
This is a mouthwatering recipe. I have made it many times and even my husband who claims he doesn't like lemons loves it (granted, he likes the base more than the top). Just thought it might be useful for anyone trying out this recipe for the first time to know that it should be made in a sturdy dish. Something like glass, pirex, etc. If you make it in a disposable pan, the liquid on the top may leek underneeth (still delish, but a bit of a messy business). If you MUST use a disposable, i suggest making sure the sides of the base is tightly patted down, and don't carry it to the oven without it being on a tray. Thanks so much for the great recipe!

Cookies 'n' Creme Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
way too good to ever make again! I made this ages ago and remember it being sooo good. Thank you for this super easy, super yummy recipe. You can completely change this recipe by adding milk chocolate and even different cookies- peppermint cookies would be really good. Thanks again!

World's Best Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I would have given this recipe 5 stars if it had less sugar. It could be my taste buds, but i found it way too sickly. Other than that, it IS a great recipe! Really easy and i have been looking for a fudge recipe that does not have condensed milk in it. I followed some other peoples suggestions and mixed the peanut butter and marshmallow fluff first- good idea! I also used chunky peanut butter just because that's what i had at hand. It gave it a little bite mmmm. Thank you SO much for the recipe! I love this website!!

Cake Doughnuts

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Okay, so i have now made this recipe twice. I have made the typical doughnuts too and if that's what you are looking for, this isn't it. However, i loved the the flavor and density of this doughnut! The dough was a really sticky consistency like a lot of people said- but i turned it out straight onto some flour and carefully folded the dough a few times to make it pliable! Little Tip 1. Don't bother using a rolling pin- just use your hands to get it to the right level- it's not a tough dough at all so it's easy to shape and will prevent sticking. Tip 2. if you are using a cutter, dip it into flour each time before cutting and it should slip right out. What i also LOVED was the fact that it was so much easier and quicker to make than the usual doughnut! THanks for the recipe!
