Donut Muffins

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
These were so good - I made them twice in one week for my coworkers! Easy, cheap, and a surefire hit. Don't change a thing.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Great cornbread recipe, very moist and buttery. This is a sweet and unhealthy choice- but it's worth the splurge!

Italian Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Great italian cheesecake! I had no cracked top after using the "water bath" technique. I also cooked for an hour, let sit in the oven for an hour, left on the counter for an hour, then put the cheesecake in the fridge overnight. Added 3-4 TBSP. of cocoa to make it chocolate (other than that I followed as is).

Dirt Cups

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Just had seven teenagers over and needed to make something in a flash. This is the perfect dessert. I used the small plastic cups- and it JUST made seven servings for me. Also, add as many OREO cookies as you like. I know I do ;)

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I will always use this recipe from now on. Thick, amazing icing. Allow time to dry. Added in the confectioners sugar slowly. Also added a little extra milk so it was creamy. Great recipe if you need to separate the icing for different colors.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Made my cookies on the thicker side. Came out absolutely amazing, probably one of the top sugar cookies I've ever had. Used recipe exactly, baked on parchment paper.

Tiger Butter II

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Followed the recipe exactly, except I added a teaspoon of shortening with the semisweet chocolate. I cannot emphasize enough how EASY this recipe is, and how great it turns out! Used a small "bread loaf" pan for a deep fudge. Cut it after an hour in the fridge with a large knife.

Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
Great whoopie pie recipe! Followed exactly using a Devils Food mix that already had pudding in it. As I was whisking the inside filling, I kept having to add more milk. Other than that, great!

Quick Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
The BIGGEST hit I've made from allrecipes.com so far! I made this for Thanksgiving morning, and it was gone the morning after. I made it as a Bundt cake, it came out great. For the glaze I used 1 cup powdered sugar and then squeezed a lemon into the sugar until it formed a glaze, and grated the lemon rind to make it SO flavorful! My family likes a lot of glaze :) You can use 1/2 cup powdered sugar if you want less.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
Amazing recipe! I did not lattice the crust, but cut slits into it. The granny apples were perfect for the pie. Will definitely make again- it was a Thanksgiving hit!
