If I could give this a 10 star, I would!! Yum Yum!! The only thing I added was 2 additional teaspoons of Chili powder and 3 teaspoons of cumin. It was amazing!!!

Blueberry Ricotta Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2014
I really liked it, I only had an 8x8 baking dish. So I had to let it bake almost 15-20 longer. Other than that it is a pleasant treat. It is a very pretty dessert. Thanks for posting.

I Understand this is a "basic" recipe, but it is still suppose to taste decent. This DID NOT.

My husbands favorite cookie. You can make them crispy or soft and chewy. They have so much flavor, and texture! A+++++

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
I don't have words for this recipes...My mouth is still watering for another bite! It was so amazingly tasty. I followed the recipe all the way. I did top it with the caramel sauce (1/2cbutter,1/2c brown sugar, 1/4c cream. Boil 3 minutes, pour on.) I am so glad that I did. I split the batter between 2 loaf pans and it turned out beautifully. Thank you so much for this recipe. My family decided I have to make this a regular. :)

Meatloaf California

The Family loved this meatloaf!!! Amazing! I followed the whole recipe, with just one change from other chefs feedback, I used 2 TBSP brown sugar rather than 1/4 cup. It was a so tasty! Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
This was a very tasty treat. However, all of us that ate this agreed that the ladyfingers needed more soaking liquid. Next time I will be using 1/2 cup of the coffee. They just didn't have enough liquid for a complete soak. The flavor of the custard was great! Next time I will add 1/8 cup of honey to the whip cream mix, to give it a bit more sweetness. All in all it was tasty. But room for improvement.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
Very very yummy. I added 1/4 cup flour to give them the chewy factor. They were awesome! They cracked alot when putting the kisses on. But they stayed together. Will totally be making these again! Way way to easy!

Minnesota Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Very Good. I used 1/2 inch thick boneless chops, I also added 3 cloves of garlic minced. 3/4 cup diced onion. Which I am glad I did. The reason I could not give this 5 stars is because it was to salty. I would next time cut the chicken bouillon granules in half to a 1/2 TBS. Also for the rice and the chops, I only had to cook for 1 hour. I would check it after the first hour, otherwise you might end up with dry meat and overcooked rice. Great recipe though.

Deluxe Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This is a very rich, flavorful, great textured pie. It baked beautifully. Nice golden coloring. I baked for 50 minutes and used 1/4 cup of the brandy. I can see where if you want a light brandy taste, a 1/4 cup will do. If you want a kick use the full 1/2 cup. Absolutely the best Pecan Pie!

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
as the aroma went through the kitchen, into the living room, my son yells to me and says sweetly, "Mom, whatever you are cooking- I am eating" Needless to say, 6 year ols boys are not easy to please. He fell in love with this on the spot. I changed quit a few things. I used 1 cup bread crumbs 1 cup rolled oats. 2 eggs. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup balsamic. 3 cloves of garlic. For the sauce...1/8 to 1/4 cup brown sugar 1-2 tbls dijon. With the changes I made to this recipe, it was out of site! Stayed together, moist and flavorful. My husband, son and I loved it!

Oatmeal Cookies Light

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
Alright, First off there is no doubt these are great tasting! However, I agree with other reviews, they fall apart. Actually... They don't keep any form what so ever. My husband and I agree that it is a rich and delicious flavor. Which would make a better topping for ice cream, possibly formed into balls after baking and dipped in chocolate. I added 1/2 cup of raw sunflower seeds and 1/2 cup craisins. :)
