These were bland and did not live up to my expectations.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
Very nice muffins. I grated the apple instead of dicing it and they were gobbled up - even the toddlers like them!

Banana Bran Muffins

One of the better muffin recipes I have made. I followed the recipe except I left out the nuts. Really good. . .

Very good recipe. Easy, and a wonderful rich chocolate flavor. I will certainly make this again.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
One of the best muffin recipes I've ever made. I used cinnamon and nutmeg instead of pumpkin pie spice, and I used half white/half brown sugar. I also added vanilla and nuts. This recipe is already in my recipe folder at home, and I am planning on making them again over thanksgiving for my whole family.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
Like several other people said, this was a good mac and cheese, but not a show stopper. I didn't have any sour cream so I used half and half with a teaspoon of dijon mustard instead. I also added browned chicken breasts to the top to make a complete meal. It was SO easy, that I will make it again, but not for the special occasions.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
Following other reviews, I made the following changes: I added cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, and I poured all but 1/4 cup of the topping over the apples before topping with the lattice crust. It was my first apple pie, and it turned out so well, I'm making another one on Thanskgiving.

Double Flavor Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
I have made this fudge every year at christmas since I was a little girl. In my family it is known as Grandaddy's Fudge, as it was my grandfathers favorite christmas treat. Now, my roommate insists that I make her a double batch to take home to her family every christmas. It is the easiest fudge that anyone can make. I don't add the vanilla, and I usually add chopped nuts to it. I always keep it refridgerated to keep it firm.
