Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
Very surprised at how delicious this soup was. The whole family enjoyed it and it is so easy to make. With minimal ingredients needed. I tweaked a bit and added more water and more potatoes, still delicious. Reminded me of cream soups in restaurants that are sinfully good.

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
I chose this recipe due to its simplicity in ingredients, but was a little disappointed. Cake was not as fluffy as I would like it to be and didn't have much flavor. My brother said it was more like eating bread than cake.

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
Easy to make and very tasty! (even though my mango was not ripe, but if it was it would have been even better ) Will definitely make this again. I had leftover salsa, so the next day I pan fried some chicken cutlets and served with salsa. Works well too.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
Simple recipe and very tasty. Love recipes with minimum ingredients. I baked for only 30 minutes after pan frying. There was a lot of sauce leftover in the tray after, so i poured it into a saucepan and added some cornstarch to make a gravy. That topped it off. So yummy. Will definitely make again.

Chicken 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
Family enjoyed it. I used Pillsbury biscuits (I'm always trying to find shortcuts to cooking). Very tasty but next time I'm going to try cut up chicken thighs instead of breast.

Brazilian Fish Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This was easy to make and very tasty. I also used just 2 peppers since my kids aren't fond of them. Then only thing I may change is to use half a can of coconut milk. The coconut flavor was a bit overpowering.

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
Simple to make and delicious. Got thumbs up from everyone. Few changes, I used cayenne pepper and boneless chicken thighs instead of red pepper flakes and chicken breast). I also forgot to put grated orange peel and green onions for garnish. I'm sure if I used those 2 it would have been even tastier. Definitely a keeper.

Jenny's Jambalaya

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
My family enjoyed it even though it came out very soggy. I even mistakenly put half the amount of chicken broth and it was still soggy, but tasty. Will try again, but use only 1/3 of chicken broth needed. And maybe hold off on the shrimp.

Sweet Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
Easy to make and tasted great! Made the whole house smell like holiday cooking. Good for a large crowd. I also tripled the ingredients for marinade, which left sauce to spoon over pork when serving. Yummy!
