Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2013
This is a wonderful recipe. I use the base recipe and just experiment with the cranberry part... I have tried several combinations and it always turns out great. I have a pan of baked oatmeal in the oven right now...apples, walnuts, even a bit of caramel...I love the Fall flavors...

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
I made this soup today and it was fabulous! I looked over the reviews and made the following changes: butter instead of marg, used half the cream cheese, added a pinch of nutmeg, instead of bouillon, I used a product called, "Better than bouillon chicken base". Thank you for sharing your recipe!

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
Love this soup!! I have been making it for years...Have yet to find anyone that doesn't love it. Everyone who tries it always wants the recipe...Also very healthy..I usually omit the water and use more chicken broth, use lots of cilantro and leave out corn/hominy (add xtra black beans)...YUM!

Easy Japanese Steakhouse Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
This soup is awesome. My kids asked me to make it the very next day....So we ended up having it two days in a row. The second day we added water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. I added more garlic, scallions, & mushrooms than the original recipe called for because we like a chunky soup. I omitted the carrots. This tastes just like the soup at our favorite (upscale) restaurant. Thanks for sharing!!
