Grandma's Corn Chowder
I thought this recipe was great!! My picky 11 year old daughter and 22 month old son even liked it. I used evaporation milk because thats what I had on hand. I would have liked it to be a little thicker so I will try half and half next time. I also used chicken broth instead of water. I would also have liked a little more corn so I will probably add an addtional can of whole kernal corn. I will be making this again real soon. Thanks!!

Spinach Dip I
Your basic spinach dip. You cant go wrong with it. I followed directions as is. I used the Knorr Vegtable soup mix. Next time might try to change it up a bit for a different taste.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork
The key to ANY slow cooker meal is to not rush it or take TOO many shortcuts because it may not come out like its supposed to. That is kinda the whole point behind the name. "slow cook" When I cook in a slow cooker I'm usually cooking dinner for the next night. (Even though this was the next nights dinner I snuck some late at night) lol I used a already seasoned Garlic & Herb Pork Loin Filet. 1.7lbs. That saved me the step from having to season the meat. I browned the meat on all sides first. I used 2 cans of whole cranberry sauce. I layered the first can of cranberry sauce on the bottom, laid the pork loin on top and poured the other can on top. I omitted the onions. I purchased the French salad dressing but chickened out lol. I cooked on high for 4 hours and it was perfect, put the slow cooker on warm for a little while and the sauce thickened on its own. I didnt have to add anything else. The meat was tender and moist but not falling all over the place so I was able to serve it and slice it very nicely. I will definitely try this again and maybe with the french dressing next time :)
