Rosemary Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
Made these potatoes for dinner last night using fresh rosemary and it was wonderful. Served with beef tenderloin and roasted brussell sprouts, also from this site. Wonderful meal.

Smoked Paprika Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2012
Love this salad dressing! I made it as written, without the optional pinch of sugar, and it was delicious. Great in a tossed salad, wraps and as a basting sauce. Wonderful!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
I made this last week and it was really good. Not too sweet or syrupy. I prebaked my shell for about 10 minutes before filling it so it wouldn't be gooey on the bottom. The crust was nice and crunchy and the filling divine.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Very good and juicy. Everyone love it. I did cook the bacon first as others suggested. Actually, I used a cast iron skillet to fry the bacon, then baked the chicken breasts in the cast iron skillet in the oven. The bacon flavor was really good. I did use the lemon pepper and it was really good.

Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
I so wanted to love this, but didn't. I made it for a friends birthday. It was just ok, which was a dissappointment. I think this would be better stated as a bread than a cake.

Herbed Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
This is a very satisfying, great tasting soup. I've made it a few times now. Once as written, then with the addition of garlic and a pinch of celery seed for personal taste preference. I also finely chop the onion and let it saute for several minutes so they reduce nicely. This last time, I was short on milk so I use a can of evaporated milk I had in the pantry. Wonderful result! The soup was so creamy. I also sometimes add some grated cheddar and crumbled bacon on top, but you don't need it to enjoy this soup.

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Wonderful! I read all the reviews and decided to go with homemade Graham Cracker Crust I (from this site and it's great) and used my 10" springform pan. I also made rum caramel sauce because I had everything on hand to make it. This is excellent. We did not think it was too sweet. Dessert is supposed to be sweet! Everyone raved about this. The topping is just too good! I'm going to try it with chocolate and peanuts, too. One note, my condensed milk and cream cheese never got fluffy as I whipped it, just very creamy. I only have a hand mixer, maybe that's why. Don't let that throw you if it doesn't get fluffy. A keeper and repeater!

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
I loved this. I made it exactly as written and it was wonderful. I could eat just this for a dessert! I honestly won't buy pre-made crust again. There is no reason to with this being so easy. It turned out so nice and crunchy and stayed crunchy without crumbling. Very nice.

Easy Portobello Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
This was very good. I made it with Baby Bella's and followed the recipe with the exception of the garlic flavored olive oil because I did not have any. Instead, I minced 2 cloves fresh garlic and added it the last few minutes. We had guests for dinner and everyone commented on how good they were. I served with marinated strip steaks. I will make this again.

Turkey Manicotti

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
This was not our favorite. I made it per the recipe. I liked it more than my husband, but it's not something I'll make again. I was surprised. We make turkey and pasta dishes all the time. This one just didn't make it for us.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Loved it. Made it Super Bowl Sunday. Used black beans instead of pinto and bone-in breasts. Really good. We also topped it off with some cheddar and sour cream.

Polish Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
I made this for dinner last night. My husband loved it! I could not keep out of the dumplings. I did not use the canned soup, it did not need it. I also used 4 bone in chicken breasts instead of one whole chicken. The next time I'll just use a couple spoons to drop the dumplings in the pot. This is really good.
