Caramelized Baked Chicken

I have tried this with breast and wings. The bottom line for me is that if you are going to make it, use the wings as suggested. I have tried cooking the glaze on the stove top as recommended by other reviewers and I've just poured it over the chicken as written... both yielded the same results with the wings caramelizing just a bit better. I will continue to make this but I will certainly use wings and skip the stove top on the glaze.

Red Rice and Sausage

I agree with another reviewer that the recipe was not real clear on some points. I am pretty sure you are suppose to use precooked sausage because my uncooked sausage didnt fare so well on the cutting. It was good. I was looking for something with more of a tomato taste. My children liked it because they thought it tasted like pizza/lasagna. I definately suggest not cooking rice until well done. I will try it again but I will try a different sausage.

this is so easy that it is almost unreal... my entire family loves it.. I did add a small container of sour cream but otherwise stuck exactly to the recipe..

Owen's BBQ Chicken

After reading that one lady baked the chicken I tried it that way... didnt turn out well at all. The reason for the four stars is because the sauce smelled, appeared and tasted fabulous before cooking in oven. I will try this AS WRITTEN for grilling and review again. 7/2012- update- if you make this as written.. you will not regret it. It is DELICIOUS. Not sure why the oven makes a difference but this sauce is blah in the oven and WOW on the grill!

Roast Beef and Gravy

This was VERY easy and I love the thickness of the gravy. I did not add salt because of other reviewers saying the original recipe was too salty. I am not sure if the fact I used potatoes and carrots made the diffence but it was not salty enough. I will definately try again but next time I will ADD salt. It was just a tad bland.

Quick Chicken Divan

This was really easy and really good. The reason for only four stars is because it was just a tad bland. Next time I will try half mayo and half sour cream as another reviewer suggests. Otherwise VERY good. I did add a Ritz cracker/butter upper crust also. UPDATED-- forget the mayo and just use sour cream and it is PERFECT!

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

I did everything as instructed.. I am sorry but this is not good at all. I gave it one star because the meat and vegetables were tender but the boullion taste was overwhelming and there is no real substanance to the gravy.. just watery, fatty.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

First- I doubled the recipe so maybe it was my fault but I found this to be very bland. Meat was tasty but gravy tasted like something out of a jar. It was edible but just not quite what i was looking for.

Fancy Chicken Salad

We have made this once a week since finding it. It is very flavorful. I double (large family) everything except dill and feta cheese. We love the their taste but it is a little strong for those of us used to bland chicken salad. We love it.

Baked Spaghetti

I love spaghetti. This was great. Would def NOT double sauce. This was almost too much to fit into the pan suggested. I will add more salt and use slightly larger dish next time. I will be saving this one!
