This looks SO GOOD that I'm sure it tastes awesome. The reviews helped a lot too. I'll definitely try this during this season, it seems perfect for colder days. Yum! I'll be back with a true review. Thanks for sharing!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Good, but too much olive oil and dressing left. I reduced olive oil to half what it was asked, stil too much. Next time will try a quarter. Taste was mid and good. Thanks.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2004
The recipe is very good, but we had to cook it for much longer in a wok pan. We made it again today, but we steamed the aspargus first and then did the wok. Much faster!

Old-World Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2004
I liked it a lot. This are the things I did: Replaced chicken broth with vegetable broth; omitted the ketchup and vegetable juiice, adding water instead. I also didn't have canned diced tomatoes, so I used stewed tomatoes. I assembled it the night before, without cooking anything and kept in the refrigerator and cooked everything in the slow-cooker on the next day. It was very good. Since I like it very hot, I had mine with tabasco habanero and chipotle.

Easy Baklava

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2003
I loved it! So easy to make and so right!. It was my first time doing it and it came out perfect. I added extra nuts (like it nutty) and did two exchanges, for less calories: 1) used fat free margarine, instead of butter; 2)replaced half of the sugar with sweetner. 3) Did a second batch of syrup, but just honey and water, no sugar or lemon (like syrupy also:) Delicious! Very easy to make and directions were good too. Next time I'm thinking of replacing all the sugar with sweetner (got watch my calories), I'm sure it will be delicious as well. I'll never buy baklavas again. Thank you for sharing the recipe.:)

Banana Nut Muffins

So easy and good!! I was a bit lazy, so I used whole eggs ( instead of just whites). Also, measured 1/2 cup of walnuts. They came out perfect! Me, my husband and my 10 y.old loved them. Keeper!:) Thanks.

Banana Bread V

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2002
Absolutely Yummy! I was going to write a good review, but my husband said: "This is not good, this is delicious!":) We loved it. First attempt to bake a bread and it came out perfect! Down side was having to watch for doneness , it's about one hour and the recipe is not specific on this ( it says untill it's brown, we tested with a toothpick). Anyway, thank you. We'll bake it again:)Very good!

Tunnel of Fudge Cake IV

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2002
I made this on Januray 1st:) It was very easy and it looked beautiful when ready. I reduced oven temperature to 300F and time of baking to 50 minutes ( my oven gets really hot!) It came out perfectly. Taste was ok, not great. I think it was too dry, so did my husband. My daughter liked it. I've never had this cake before, so I believe this is how it is suppose to be, as everything worked out fine. I might try it again, maybe increasing the butter a bit? I'll take to the office tomorrow and post my co-workers opinion later. Thanks:) Ok! I'm back.. I didn't take to the office, and after two days it tasted really good. Me and my daughter kept eating it:) I think it needed time to seat..I'll be doing it again:) Thanks!

Nothing special about this one. Tasted like a chocolate cake, and not the best one I ever had. Kids thought it was ok, nothing special either. Won't do it again. Sorry:(

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2001
Ok! Me and my daughter don't dig on mayo ( believe it or not!)..But if this your case..try to substitute for half of a medium potato ( cooked/mashed) + half tbsp olive oil (you can also add parsley to mashed potato - just enough to taste good - and black pepper .)..Turned up delish! it's in our recipe list. Thanks!:)
