Prime Rib

I used a 5 lb roast. I cooked it at 400 for 60 minutes and then let it sit for 45. It was a little bit more than medium. I would probably cook for 45 and let it sit for 45 next time.

Garlic Prime Rib

This was disappointing, especially after all of the reviews. The garlic mixture was great and made the house smell wonderful. But the flavor didn't penetrate to the roast. And since the rest of the roast was basically unseasoned, it didn't have any really great flavor. Perhaps if the entire roast had been rubbed with the garlic mixture, it would have made a difference. And I think the garlic mixture would be great on chicken breasts or a pork tenderloin.

Horseradish Burgers

Tasty. I mixed the ingredients in with the beef before making the burgers. As mentioned by others, very difficult to keep together. Might make a good meat loaf.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

I like to call this recipe "Meat Candy" when people ask what it is. I find that a 16 oz pack of weiners works perfectly with a full pound of bacon.

I don't understand all of the great reviews for this recipe. It was average at best. This recipe would work just as well, or better, on chicken or pork. It seemed like a waste of a good piece of salmon

Caribbean Holiday Shrimp

Very good flavor. I made the mistake of using Frozen Shrimp from the supermarket, which ended up a little soggy. I think next time I will cook the shrimp myself. I would also use large shrimp rather than medium.
